The role available at The Brewery is for a Lead Head Chef, an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Food and Delivery Head Chef, this position focuses on leading a designated culinary section—be it Larder, Pastry, or Mains. The Lead Head Chef is responsible for inspiring and managing the kitchen brigade, ensuring that every dish maintains exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation standards that match The Brewery’s reputation.
This role demands hands-on involvement and strong leadership as you guide your team through busy service schedules, while upholding strict food safety, hygiene, and health regulations. The Lead Head Chef will support a variety of events, from large-scale functions to tastings and exclusive client experiences, making it a critical role that directly impacts guest satisfaction. In addition to daily kitchen operations, the position includes responsibilities such as stock management, waste control, and contributing to menu innovation by keeping abreast of food trends.

Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a senior or lead chef in a fast-paced kitchen
- strong leadership and team management skills

- excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Lead and manage assigned kitchen section with hands-on involvement
- ensure smooth daily operations during busy service schedules
- deliver consistently high-quality food adhering to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- support large-scale events, tastings, and client experiences
- maintain 5-star food safety and hygiene standards
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- train, mentor, and motivate kitchen team
- monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and control stock rotation and waste
- collaborate with other departments for exceptional guest experiences
- stay updated on food trends and contribute to menu development and innovation
