Their commitment to equal opportunity and merit-based advancement fosters a dynamic and supportive work environment. WoodSpring Suites in Indio, CA, is one of the properties managed under this reputable management umbrella, known for offering affordable extended-stay accommodations tailored to meet the needs of business and leisure travelers alike.
The Lead Guest Attendant role at WoodSpring Suites is a pivotal position within the hotel's operational framework. This full-time hourly role, with a competitive wage range of $20.00 to $22.00 based on experience, requires an energetic and experienced team leader with a passion for hospitality and team development. The Lead Guest Attendant supports the General Manager by assisting in daily operations and stepping into leadership during the General Manager's absence. The position ensures that service standards not only meet but consistently exceed guest expectations, fostering a hospitable environment where each visitor feels valued and cared for.
Responsibilities inherent to this role encompass leading and mentoring staff, managing financial and administrative tasks such as posting checks and maintaining labor trackers, and overseeing guest relations to address feedback and ensure safety. This role also involves collaborating with housekeeping for room assignments and inspections, managing inventory, liaising with vendors, and coordinating sales and marketing initiatives to boost occupancy. Flexibility is crucial as the Lead Guest Attendant may need to cover shifts to maintain smooth operations, and must be prepared to respond effectively to emergencies while prioritizing guest and property security.

In addition to the tangible benefits, Hotel Management & Consulting fosters career growth opportunities, complemented by an Employee Assistance Program supporting personal and work-related concerns, thus ensuring well-rounded support for its team members. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of hotel leadership experience, strong organizational and team-building skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Physical stamina is necessary to manage the demands of the role, including tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Hotel Management & Consulting, Inc. is proud to maintain a drug-free workplace and adheres strictly to equal employment opportunity policies, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment for all. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking to build a rewarding career in hospitality management with a company that values dedication and professional growth.
