This full-time Lead Food Service Worker position is based at Winston & Strawn, located at 200 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10166. The role requires working Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Compass Group offers a competitive hourly wage of $24.00 and includes benefits such as free meals, uniforms, and laundering services at select locations. The Lead Food Service Worker will assist the Manager on Duty by coordinating activities within the department and ensuring that all associates maintain the highest standards of customer service. This leadership role involves overseeing food preparation and service, maintaining sanitation and safety standards in compliance with HACCP and OSHA regulations, monitoring associate productivity and breaks, and handling cash and financial reports. The ideal candidate will participate actively in onboarding and training new associates and help address customer needs while resolving any concerns promptly. This position also includes responsibilities related to menu planning and ordering, which require familiarity with company programs and initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous data entry experience preferred
  • Willingness to train
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash responsibly

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversees, monitors and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items while adhering to company food standards for presentation, sanitation and safety while meeting HACCP and OSHA guidelines
