The Part-Time Associate role at Product Connections is a key position within the retail marketing team. This role entails completing in-store food and non-food product demonstrations to engage and educate consumers while actively promoting sales. The Associate is responsible for acquiring and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the products represented to deliver effective and professional demonstrations. They serve as the frontline face of the brand in retail environments, responsible for intercepting shoppers, demonstrating product features, and closing sales through persuasive, interactive experiences.

In addition, the Associate manages the event execution equipment and supplies, ensuring that all demonstration tools and materials are clean, well-maintained, and securely stored. The role requires a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with company and retailer standards, as well as compliance with food safety guidelines when handling and preparing food samples, including raw meats, produce, and eggs.

The Associate plays a leadership role when the Supervisor is absent, serving as the point of contact for store management regarding past and upcoming events. This includes overseeing the proper setup and presentation of event tables, assisting other event specialists with kits and materials, and ensuring all event documentation such as expense reports, audits, and online submissions are completed accurately and timely. The Associate also contributes to client visits by preparing materials and documenting successful setups through digital photography, further supporting company and client objectives.

This position is designed for up to 25 hours per week but may be adjusted based on business and client needs. It is ideal for candidates who are proactive, personable, and skilled at engaging customers while multitasking responsibilities related to event execution. The role demands physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and handling various equipment and supplies, as well as compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
