The environment at Trophy Cupcakes is one of optimism and curiosity, encouraging employees to dream, create, and make a positive impact in their communities. With a strong emphasis on leadership development, the company invests heavily in coaching and opportunities for professional growth, striving to build extraordinary teams that deliver extraordinary experiences.

The Lead Decorator role at Trophy Cupcakes is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled artist to not only create beautiful desserts but also to lead and inspire a team that consistently meets the highest standards of quality and excellence. This position requires a blend of artistic talent and leadership capability, with a focus on accountability, clear communication, and measurable results. The Lead Decorator plays a critical part in maintaining the Trophy Experience, thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing pressure calmly, and fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere. Reporting to the Bakery Manager, the Lead Decorator is responsible for guiding the decorating team, setting clear expectations, coaching and developing team members, and ensuring successful production outcomes that uphold the brand’s reputation.

This role demands expertise in cake building, frosting techniques, piping, recipe execution, and decorating standards, combined with strong organizational skills and adherence to food safety practices. The Lead Decorator collaborates closely with management to optimize inventory, workflow, and operational efficiency while embracing change and growth priorities. This position offers a competitive compensation package with a base pay of $23.00 per hour plus an average of $3.50 per hour in tips, reflecting Trophy Cupcakes’ commitment to financial wellness and employee support. Alongside a rewarding salary, the role includes access to high-quality medical insurance, paid time off, employee discounts, volunteer opportunities, and continuous professional development—including one-on-one coaching with an executive coach. It’s a chance to grow professionally within a woman-owned company dedicated to spreading joy through creative, heartfelt celebration.
