Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two to five years of experience as a cook
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional proficiency in English
  • Ability to calculate basic math for recipes and inventory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to lift and carry with assistance up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Ability to withstand hot environments using kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two to five years of experience as a cook, preferably in a multi-service hotel or restaurant
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong communication skills across all levels
  • Professional proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication
  • Ability to calculate basic math principles for recipes and inventory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, balance, and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to lift, balance, and carry with assistance up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to withstand warm to hot environments while utilizing kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, and fryers

Job Duties

  • Uphold the company’s principles of People, Place, and Character through your daily work
  • Prepare and execute menu items consistently and according to established standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food handling within all culinary spaces
  • Ensure quality, presentation, and timing meet expectations for an exceptional guest experience
  • Support kitchen operations by working collaboratively with team members across all stations
  • Follow recipes, prep lists, and direction from culinary leadership to meet business needs
  • Assist with maintaining inventory, organization, and proper storage of ingredients
  • Communicate clearly with team members during service to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Observe and report any equipment or facility issues to support a safe working environment
