This role focuses on the position of Lead Cashier (LC), a key team member responsible for the smooth operation of guest transactions and maintaining high standards at the cashwrap area. The Lead Cashier not only ensures the speed and accuracy of sales transactions, including handling refunds and exchanges but also upholds the visual and cleanliness standards to guarantee a pleasant guest experience. As an experienced cashier, the LC plays a leadership role by assisting in the training and development of new cashiers and other associates, fostering teamwork and collaboration within the store.

Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand and move throughout the store during shifts
- Frequent bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, twisting, and reaching
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Continuous coordination and manual dexterity
- Compliance with company dress code and policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to delegate, multitask, and problem-solve
- Strong knowledge and passion for guest service and sales
- Experience addressing guest concerns professionally
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals
- Familiarity with Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Adaptability under pressure and good judgment in ambiguous situations
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store sales and loyalty goals including credit
- Ensure exceptional guest service by greeting and engaging customers
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges courteously
- Support makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
- Book appointments and assist in-store events to enhance guest experience
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of cashwrap areas and supplies
- Assist in the training and cross-training of cashiers and associates
- Support leadership with register functions and associate exit inspections
- Drive cashier accountability and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with the store team
