The Lead Bartender position at the Airport Dimensions-Sapphire Lounge by The Club offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team within this reputable organization. This full-time role, with a competitive pay rate of $23.00 per hour, requires open availability to work any shift, underscoring the need for flexibility and adaptability. As a Lead Bartender, you will be at the forefront of the customer experience, entrusted with crafting and serving high-quality cocktails and beverages that elevate the ambiance and satisfaction of patrons. Your creativity and expertise in mixology will play a crucial role in enhancing the drinking and dining experience, while your leadership skills will contribute to maintaining smooth bar operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating both classic and innovative cocktails, selecting appropriate glassware, garnishing drinks thoughtfully, and educating customers about the drink menu. Serving customers directly or through waitstaff, you will assess individual preferences and needs to offer tailored recommendations. Maintaining the bar's cleanliness, sanitation, and stock levels—including managing ice, beverages, and garnishes—is a key part of your duties to ensure an efficient and inviting environment. Compliance with all food and beverage regulations, including age verification for alcohol purchases, is paramount to uphold legal and safety standards.
Additionally, the Lead Bartender may take on supervisory responsibilities, including training and guiding other employees under the direction of onsite management. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 2 to 3 years of related experience preferably in high-end establishments or hospitality management
- Appropriate license, certification, or permit to bartend and/or service food as required by the city and state
- Mixology certifications or training desirable

Job Duties
- Create classic and innovative cocktails, selecting appropriate glassware, garnishing drinks and educating customers about the drink menu
- Take orders and serve drinks directly or indirectly through waitstaff, assessing customers’ needs and preferences to make recommendations as needed
- Maintain the bar area, ensuring it is neat, sanitary, and well-stocked, including stocking ice, beverages (beer, wine, liquor), slicing bar fruit, preparing specialty mixers, cleaning glassware and utensils
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, including checking customer IDs to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase
- Train and supervise employees as directed by onsite management
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
