In this role as a Laundry Porter, you will play a vital part in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that embody the Four Seasons brand. This position is essential in ensuring that all linens and towels meet stringent quality checks before being used in guest rooms and public areas. Perfecting laundry processes through skills such as operating the Flat Iron Press and Towel Press Machine, inspecting linens for damage or stains, folding, and organizing laundry, are core components of this job. The Laundry Porter also collaborates closely with housekeeping and uniform room staff to maintain smooth operations.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or professional cleaning experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
- effective communication skills
- strong time management and organizational skills
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to operate laundry machinery and basic computer equipment
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or professional cleaning experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
- excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- strong time management skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions
- ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job
- knowledge of HotSOS preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
- ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs
Job Duties
- Operate, wax and clean the Flat Iron Press
- shake all linens including pillowcases, napkins, sheets and tablecloths and feed through Flat Iron Press
- collect/catch pressed linens when folded
- add an additional fold, if required
- place all folded linen in cart
- operate and clean Towel Press Machine
- feed all towels through and collect/catch once pressed
- add an additional fold, if required
- place all folded towels in cart
- identify and separate any stained or torn linens, including pillow cases, napkins, sheets and tablecloths
- assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Uniform Room Attendant
- assist Housekeeping Management with weekly stock takes of guest supplies, cleaning supplies and chemicals needed for the cleaning of Front and Back of House areas
