The Laboratory Analyst position at IEH Laboratories is a critical role responsible for supporting the company’s food safety testing operations. This full-time position, based at the Lake Forest Park facility, involves conducting detailed microbiological analyses of food samples to detect the presence of pathogens using advanced techniques such as PCR (polymerase chain reaction) and immunoassays. The analyst will also perform various microbial enumerations to quantify microorganisms in samples, ensuring product safety standards are met. Attention to detail is paramount, as precise data entry and laboratory reporting are essential components of the job. The Laboratory Analyst will calibrate laboratory equipment like pipettes and prepare culture media needed for testing.
