Job Requirements
- Minimum three years of professional culinary experience
- Culinary education preferred but not mandatory
- Proven ability to develop child-focused nutritious menus
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen maintenance
- Ability to work independently managing all kitchen operations
- Willingness to undergo a two to three day paid trial
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Willingness to complete a full background check
- Ability to provide references from long-term previous employers
- Commitment to regular medical check-ups
- Absolute abstinence from alcohol, drugs, or addictive behaviors
- Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
Job Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience as a private chef or head chef in a private household or high-end restaurant environment
- Culinary education from recognized institutions preferred
- Professional certifications such as ACF Certified Personal Chef, ServSafe, HACCP, or WSET highly regarded
- Versatility across multiple cuisines including Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, and plant-forward diets
- Demonstrated experience cooking for children in a private household setting
- Exceptional discretion, reliability, and professionalism
- Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
- Strong commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
Job Duties
- Design weekly menus tailored to the family’s health goals, preferences, and seasonal availability
- Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and nutritious snacks for adults and children
- Develop and maintain dedicated, rotating menus for two children ensuring meals are nutritious, age-appropriate, and appealing
- Adapt textures, portion sizes, and ingredients to suit both a toddler and a school-aged child
- Independently manage all kitchen operations ensuring efficient and organized workflow
- Source high-quality ingredients from premium grocery stores and local organic suppliers
- Plan and execute small private dinners, family celebrations, and holiday meals upon request
