We are currently seeking a Korean / English Bilingual Senior Finance Manager – FP&A to join a leading global industrial supplier located near Detroit, MI. This key leadership role demands a seasoned finance professional with over 7 years of experience within manufacturing-related industries that operate domestically and internationally. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing business planning processes, managing teams, and driving strategic financial initiatives that align with corporate goals. As a bilingual professional fluent in both Korean and English, this leader will effectively bridge multinational operations and communicate across various departments to enhance collaborative efforts.
The Senior Finance Manager will report closely to the CFO, providing support across Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources. This involves supervising planners, consultants, and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations and the execution of strategic plans based on insightful forecasting. The candidate will also lead cross-functional teams to refine business planning techniques and assist management in resource allocation, budgeting, revenue accounting, and operational efficiency. A major component of the role entails developing and standardizing procedures to safeguard financial and operational objectives while adhering to stringent compliance standards such as SOX internal controls.
Besides operational management, this role requires a strategic mindset to identify underlying business challenges and propose viable solutions. Regular reviews of strategic and departmental business plans, governance reporting, and project facilitation are integral responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, leadership, and follow-up skills, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Job Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years experience in corporate financial planning preferably in logistics or automotive-related industries
- Business-level proficiency in Korean and English (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience and knowledge in Accounting and Finance
- Working knowledge of federal, state and local employment and benefits laws/regulations is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership, planning, organizational and follow-up skills in a team-based environment
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Job Duties
- Create and implement business planning processes
- Manage teams, supervise business operations, design strategic plans based on forecasts, and provide improvement recommendations
- Work closely with CFO supporting activities of Accounting, Finance and Human Resource departments
- Oversee a team of planners, consultants, and support staff and may be involved in projects when necessary
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods
- Assist management in operations, resource management, budget, and revenue accounting
- Develop standard procedures to manage and maintain business operational and financial objectives
- Identify business problems and provide recommendations for improvements
- Understand business direction and needs and develop solutions, roadmaps and assess potential business impacts
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment
- Review strategic, corporate and departmental business plans regularly to ensure milestones are achieved on time and governance reports, project status reports, presentations, and agendas are completed
- Provide skilled facilitation to support projects or teams to successfully achieve objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
