The role we are hiring for is critical in supporting PSG’s production goals by efficiently pulling and kitting products needed for manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include selecting the right components to meet work order requirements, communicating stock issues, and ensuring smooth production flow by collaborating with department leads and production coordinators. This role demands a strong knowledge of inventory control practices, plant layout, and material handling to maintain high levels of accuracy and quality.
Additionally, you will manage inventory systems such as KANBAN to identify shortages proactively, report discrepancies, and comply with all quality assurance policies to ensure the best product output. Fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement is essential, along with maintaining excellent communication and organizational skills. This position is onsite, offering a steady work environment with competitive pay starting at $19.00 per hour and eligibility for discretionary bonuses based on performance.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in kitting, material handling, or receiving preferred
- knowledge of plant layout and warehouse mapping
- proficiency with computers and various printers
- strong communication skills
- ability to adhere to safety standards and company policies
- ability to work overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of kitting, material handling, receiving experience, preferred
- thorough knowledge of plant layout, warehouse mapping, equipment applications, material requirements, and inventory control practices
- competency in computer applications including Oracle and Windows
- strong communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- physically pull product required on work orders
- pick product from stock/issues components to work in progress
- provide advance information to production coordinator regarding shortages
- utilize KANBAN system to identify outages
- strive to reduce kitting error and quality issues
- report substitutions and bill of materials corrections to production coordinator
- comply with all quality assurance procedures and policies
- strive to improve departmental efficiencies and reduce cost through continuous improvement
- adhere to company policies and procedures
- foster goodwill with all internal customers
- adhere to established inventory control systems and computer tracking
- strive to maintain high level 5s in kitting area
- demonstrate commitment to safety and continual improvement of occupational health and safety performance
- work overtime as assigned
- complete all duties as assigned
