Job Requirements

  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, obtain and maintain a gaming license
  • Must obtain and maintain a Food Handlers Card
  • No driving responsibilities required
  • Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Strength to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Willingness to work in exposure to fumes or airborne particles including secondhand smoke
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three months of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to provide friendly and efficient service to guests and team members
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize china, glassware, flatware, and smallware following established procedures
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain kitchen equipment and stainless-steel surfaces
  • Sweep, brush, and mop kitchen floors and clean walls, ceiling tiles, light fixtures, and air vents
  • Clean dish machines and sinks throughout shifts
  • Sort and remove trash and garbage to designated containers
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Set up dining area for service and clean tables, counters, and floors
  • Assist in setup, service, and breakdown of special functions
  • Remove soiled linen and assist in food preparation and special projects
  • Support team members and management in daily operations
