The role of Utility Worker I, reporting directly to the Supervisor Steward, is integral to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the kitchen and dining facilities. This position is focused on the cleaning and sanitization of dinnerware such as china, glasses, silverware, and smallware, as well as kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, grills, fryers, refrigerators, tables, and stainless steel surfaces. The Utility Worker I ensures that all work areas comply with health and safety regulations and food safety guidelines, thereby supporting a hygienic and safe environment for food preparation and service. Additionally, this role involves maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant dining areas and utensils, contributing directly to the overall guest experience.

This position demands reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Utility Worker I must be able to operate cleaning machinery, manage waste disposal, and assist with food preparation and various special projects when required.
