Job Description

White Lodging is a prominent hospitality company that develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning, premium-brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants located in some of the most desirable cities across the United States. Renowned for its commitment to exceptional service and guest experiences, White Lodging embodies the essence of hospitality by focusing on how people feel during their stay or visit. The company fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes career growth opportunities for its associates. With multiple properties within each market, White Lodging offers its employees a broad spectrum of prospects for personal and professional development. This established hospitality leader is dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction throughout its operations.

The Kitchen Supervisor role at White Lodging is a vital position primarily on the 2nd shift, which requires availability during afternoons, evenings, and weekends to oversee and support the kitchen's daily operations. This role is perfect for individuals with leadership abilities who take pride in mentoring and developing team members while ensuring operational excellence is achieved in every aspect of kitchen performance. The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for leading the back-of-house team by enforcing the White Lodging Way (WLW) processes, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards, and supporting the achievement of financial and guest satisfaction goals. This leadership position involves opening or closing the kitchen and ensuring smooth shift transitions, along with confirming that all cooking procedures and recipes are consistently followed.

Key responsibilities include training and coaching a diverse culinary workforce to perform at their highest level, implementing quality control measures, and guaranteeing compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience in a culinary leadership role, strong leadership skills focused on team development and accountability, and fluency in all cooking techniques and procedures. In addition, candidates must possess a self-motivated work ethic with a commitment to excellence, physical stamina to spend long hours on their feet, and the capability to lift up to 35 pounds when required.

White Lodging’s comprehensive benefits package begins on the first day of employment and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave, and an employee assistance program (EAP). Team members can also take advantage of DailyPay options, 401(k) plans with company match, paid time off with rollover, leadership development and tuition reimbursement programs, and various discounts on hotel rooms, dining, and entertainment experiences. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a respected hospitality brand with a commitment to associate growth and guest satisfaction, making it a fulfilling and rewarding career choice for culinary professionals seeking to excel in the hospitality industry.
