The program team works collaboratively to uphold the organization's mission by fostering a nurturing atmosphere where beneficiaries are empowered to rebuild their lives.
Joining the ARC’s program team means becoming part of a dedicated workforce that is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the local community. The culture within the ARC encourages respect, teamwork, and a strong commitment to the goals of rehabilitation, with each member playing a crucial role in the center's continued success.
The position offered comes with a competitive hourly wage of $24.00, reflecting the value placed on skilled and devoted employees within this vital service sector. The role offers attractive benefits including opportunities for career growth, paid time off, and access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, further supporting employee well-being and job satisfaction.
The specific role involves responsibilities that support kitchen operations within the Adult Rehabilitation Program. The successful candidate will coordinate kitchen activities to ensure timely meal preparation and service, administrate food safety and sanitation standards, supervise and train kitchen personnel including program beneficiaries, manage inventory and supplier relationships, and maintain kitchen equipment. The position demands a combination of organizational skills, hands-on experience, leadership, and the ability to operate within the regulatory frameworks of health, safety, and organizational policy.
This is a role that requires physical resilience, including the ability to engage in repetitive tasks, lift heavy items, and work in various conditions such as extreme heat.
