The role of Kitchen Supervisor at Stars and Strikes is pivotal, focusing on ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. This full-time position requires an experienced professional who can work closely with the Kitchen Manager to lead the back-of-house team, oversee daily kitchen functions including food production, preparation, purchasing, and receiving, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for fostering a team-oriented atmosphere, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring that every team member performs at their best to deliver consistent quality to guests.

Job Duties

  • Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to lead and manage the back of house team
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of all areas of the kitchen including production, prep, purchasing, and receiving
  • Foster team mentality and collaboration among team members
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
  • Train and support kitchen staff
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
