Job Description
Target Hospitality is a renowned provider of workforce accommodations and hospitality services primarily catering to remote worksites, including energy, construction, and mining sectors. With a commitment to delivering exceptional food and lodging experiences, Target Hospitality operates high-quality camps designed to promote health, safety, and well-being for their guests and staff. The company stands out for its professional approach to camp management, encompassing top-tier cuisine, clean living environments, and a focus on customer satisfaction. Target Hospitality prides itself on fostering a safety culture and operational excellence, ensuring it meets the unique requirements of its diverse clientele across North America.
The role of Kitchen Staff III at Target Hospitality is an essential hourly position reporting directly to the Head Chef. This role involves supporting kitchen production and maintaining the cleanliness and operational standards of both kitchen and dining areas. The Kitchen Staff III is responsible for assisting in food preparation, restocking coolers and displays, cleaning dishes and equipment, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards under HACCP and FIFO guidelines. This position demands a reliable team member capable of performing physically demanding tasks within a fast-paced environment while maintaining a dedicated focus on hygiene and safety. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating a world-class dining experience for guests by upholding Target Hospitality's high standards of service and safety.
Key responsibilities extend from ensuring the cleanliness of all food service areas to operating kitchen machinery such as slicers, coffee machines, and pop dispensers. Additionally, the Kitchen Staff III plays a vital role in supporting safety protocols, attending meetings, and responding effectively to emergency procedures. The working environment demands endurance, as the role includes standing or squatting for extended hours, lifting heavy items, and executing repetitive movements critical to kitchen operations. It also requires adaptability to deal with extreme temperature variations and navigating confined spaces safely.
Candidates aspiring to join Target Hospitality as Kitchen Staff III should possess at least two years of dishwashing or equivalent hospitality experience, ideally within remote or camp settings. The role favors candidates with food safety and first aid certifications, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or under supervision. Candidates must also be prepared for rotational work schedules involving extended periods away from home and maintain the physical stamina to meet the role's demands. Background and drug screenings are mandatory prerequisites, and reliable personal transportation to the facility is required.
Embracing diversity and inclusion, Target Hospitality is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to providing fair employment opportunities to protected veterans and individuals with disabilities. The company ensures compliance with federal laws and supports applicants’ awareness of their employment rights through the Department of Labor's guidelines. This opportunity welcomes dedicated, safety-conscious individuals ready to contribute to a dynamic team environment and elevate guest satisfaction within the hospitality service industry.
