Balance Grille is currently seeking a Full-Time Kitchen Shift Leader (Elite Samurai) to join our team. This leadership role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of kitchen shifts, maintaining high food quality standards, and supporting a positive work environment. The position offers a starting wage of $17.50 per hour, commensurate with experience and training. As a Kitchen Shift Leader, you will lead kitchen operations during opening and closing shifts, execute multiple kitchen stations including grill, wok, prep, and line, and mentor team members to uphold the brand’s high standards for consistency, presentation, and speed.

Beyond operational duties, this role demands strong leadership attributes to foster team morale and maintain a high-performance kitchen culture. The Kitchen Shift Leader will play a vital role in keeping the kitchen organized, clean, and compliant with food safety regulations while also acting as an ambassador for the Balance Grille brand within and outside the restaurant. This position offers a clear pathway to higher leadership opportunities with performance-based raises and the ability for top performers to earn $23 or more per hour by mastering all kitchen positions.

The work schedule is full-time, with shifts posted two weeks in advance for planning consistency. Employees enjoy weekly pay, free meals with every shift, paid time off after 90 days (subject to open availability), and holidays off.
