Southcoast Health is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join its team at St. Luke's Hospital located in New Bedford, MA. This role is a part-time position offering 16 hours per week, working day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a rotation that includes weekends and holidays. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role within the Food and Nutrition Services department, reporting directly to the Manager Culinary or Operations Manager. This position supports the department’s commitment to safe and clean food preparation environments by ensuring all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment are thoroughly washed and sanitized. General sanitation responsibilities such as floor cleaning and trash removal also fall under this role to maintain a hygienic and orderly kitchen environment.
