The Kitchen Operations Manager at Aramark plays a pivotal role in driving culinary excellence and operational efficiency within a professional food service environment. Reporting to the General Manager, this position involves managing kitchen personnel, overseeing food preparation activities, and ensuring that the highest standards of food quality and customer service are consistently met. The Kitchen Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating daily kitchen operations to deliver efficient and consistent service. This includes supervising, training, and mentoring kitchen staff, overseeing menu and recipe development, and ensuring that food consumption is accurately forecasted for procurement purposes. The role also involves selecting and standardizing recipes to maintain quality and presentation, establishing pricing mechanisms, and managing kitchen equipment to meet maintenance standards. Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in related culinary or kitchen leadership role
- 2-3 years post-high school education or equivalent
- culinary training preferred but not required
- strong knowledge of food service principles and kitchen operations
- proven ability to lead teams and manage kitchen activities
- excellent communication skills
- ability to maintain safety and sanitation standards
