Known for its innovative menu and commitment to excellence, Prime Pizza combines traditional pizza-making techniques with modern flavors to cater to a broad customer base. As a company, Prime Pizza values diversity and inclusion, promotes a collaborative work environment, and emphasizes continuous improvement and operational excellence in all its locations. With a strong focus on community engagement and sustainable practices, Prime Pizza positions itself as a leader in the casual dining sector, striving to create memorable experiences for every guest.
The Kitchen Manager role at Prime Pizza is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure the delivery of superior food quality and guest satisfaction. This salaried position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year, complemented by a quarterly bonus starting at 10% of the salary, making it both a rewarding and challenging opportunity for culinary management professionals. The Kitchen Manager will lead a team of culinary staff, collaborate closely with the General Manager to align operational goals, and enforce brand standards and health regulations meticulously.
This role demands a hands-on leader who can effectively manage kitchen inventory, food purchasing, staff training, and daily operations while ensuring compliance with health and safety codes. The Kitchen Manager is tasked with maintaining rigorous quality control over recipes and production standards, fostering a positive and inclusive kitchen environment, and implementing best practices that optimize efficiency and product consistency. Additionally, the position requires managing financial aspects including food and labor costs, conducting inventory audits, and reviewing profit and loss statements to drive business performance.
Prime Pizza’s Kitchen Manager also plays an essential role in human resources functions such as recruitment, staff development, evaluation, and coaching. Ensuring the kitchen team upholds superior service levels requires excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and empower staff. This role expects the Kitchen Manager to deliver weekly meetings that highlight achievements, address improvements, and reinforce brand messaging, ensuring that all team members are engaged and aligned with company objectives.
The kitchen environment at Prime Pizza is fast-paced, often crowded and loud, requiring the Kitchen Manager to be adaptable and resilient while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality. Working hours may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. The position also supports compliance with all applicable labor laws and works closely with administrative functions such as payroll and scheduling.
Overall, the Kitchen Manager at Prime Pizza is a pivotal leader who ensures exceptional culinary delivery, operational success, employee satisfaction, and customer delight. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth in a vibrant and supportive company culture dedicated to innovation and excellence in the foodservice industry.
