Job Requirements

  • mobility and manual dexterity including ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and perform extensive walking
  • ability to lift 40 lbs and carry 10 feet
  • ability to work at least 40 hours a week or more
  • capacity to handle stressful situations and conflict resolution
  • ability to complete prep lists, inventory forms, order sheets, and time/temperature logs
  • understanding of basic electronic devices and POS systems
  • ability to communicate and collaborate daily with management

Job Qualifications

  • previous kitchen management experience
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • strong leadership and team training skills
  • ability to maintain inventory and handle ordering
  • proficiency with basic electronic device programs and contemporary software apps
  • excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • produce safe and high-quality food
  • ensure excellent food presentation
  • maintain a clean and efficient kitchen, storage, and prep areas
  • train and lead the kitchen team
  • meet or exceed food cost and kitchen labor goals
  • complete prep lists, inventory forms, order sheets, and time/temperature logs
  • communicate openly and partner with management to resolve issues
