Job Description
Casey's is a well-established and respected national convenience store chain known for its commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and community engagement. Founded with a mission to provide more than just convenience, Casey's offers a welcoming environment where customers can enjoy freshly prepared foods, a wide variety of beverages, and exceptional service. With hundreds of stores across various states, Casey's continues to expand while maintaining its focus on operational excellence and team member development. As an employer, Casey's promotes a supportive culture that values integrity, respect, and continuous growth, providing employees with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.
The role of Kitchen Manager at Casey's is crucial within the store’s leadership team, operating under the guidance of the Store Manager. This hands-on leadership position focuses on training, guiding, and motivating kitchen team members to deliver an outstanding guest experience every day. The Kitchen Manager is directly responsible for managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are rigorously upheld, overseeing inventory control, and leading the prepared foods and dispensed beverage areas to enhance both productivity and profitability.
In this role, the Kitchen Manager will actively engage in task delegation, coaching for success, and problem resolution to maintain high operational standards and guest satisfaction. Collaboration with the Store Manager is central to ensuring all kitchen activities run smoothly, inventories are well-maintained and accurate, and the store complies with 5S workplace organization standards. The manager will also be a role model who exemplifies and promotes Casey’s CARES values—Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service—thus fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Casey’s offers a competitive starting pay range for the Kitchen Manager role typically between $17.50 and $20.15 per hour, although actual pay may vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and local wage standards. This position is also eligible for quarterly performance-based bonuses, allowing motivated individuals to increase their earnings significantly. Beyond the immediate compensation, Casey’s offers comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, career growth and development programs, and employee discounts.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates who possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and an organizational mindset capable of handling inventory management and operational standards in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Manager will need to be adaptable, take ownership of their responsibilities, and work collaboratively with their team to ensure that guests enjoy seamless service and high-quality prepared foods every time they visit Casey’s. This role offers a substantial career pathway for those interested in advancing within the company’s management ranks.
