Job Description
Casey's is a well-established convenience store and gas station chain known for its commitment to quality, community, and customer service. Operating primarily in the Midwest, Casey's has cultivated a reputation for delivering fresh food, fuel, and other essential items with a focus on an exceptional guest experience. The company blends the convenience of on-the-go service with a friendly atmosphere, creating a workplace where teamwork and dedication to values are paramount. Casey's stores often serve as community hubs, emphasizing local connections and the importance of employee engagement and guest satisfaction.
As a Kitchen Manager at Casey's, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that both food quality and safety standards are upheld. This position is a hands-on leadership role and an integral part of the store leadership team. Collaborating closely with the Store Manager, you will train, guide, and motivate the kitchen Team Members, fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with Casey's CARES values — Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service. Your leadership will be central to maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen environment, complying with 5S standards, and striving for operational excellence.
In this role, your responsibilities will extend beyond supervising kitchen operations; you will also oversee inventory management within the kitchen, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste. You will manage all daily activities concerning prepared foods and dispensed beverage areas, optimizing productivity and profitability. Acting proactively, you will anticipate and resolve guest concerns promptly, maintaining open communication with the Store Manager to uphold the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Casey's values its Kitchen Managers by offering competitive compensation, starting with a pay range of $15.00 to $17.25 per hour, depending on individual qualifications such as knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and relevant experience. This role also provides quarterly bonus opportunities based on kitchen performance, reflecting Casey’s dedication to rewarding excellence and fostering career development. The company offers a broad salary range, which means there are ample opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring individuals who can adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on detail and quality. As a Kitchen Manager, you will not only lead and coach but also sometimes perform Store Team Member duties to support your team and ensure smooth operations. This blended accountability underscores the importance of versatility and teamwork in delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Casey's is committed to supporting its employees through a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with a company match, paid time off and holiday pay, and career growth programs. Additionally, team members enjoy perks like DailyPay and discounts, all fostering a positive and supportive work culture.
If you're passionate about leadership, food service, and guest satisfaction, Casey's offers a rewarding career path as a Kitchen Manager where your skills can thrive, and your efforts are recognized and appreciated.
