The role of Kitchen Manager at Rivertown Ridge is a full-time position that offers no late-night shifts, providing a balanced work schedule. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation within the community's dining services. Reporting directly to the Dining Services Director, the Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation and serving of nutritious, attractive meals served at appropriate temperatures. The Kitchen Manager ensures adherence to recipes and portion control to maintain consistency while effectively managing food costs.

This position requires diligent monitoring of food safety protocols including proper labeling, dating, storage, and temperature control of all kitchen food items. The candidate must also maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment compliant with all state and local regulations. Additional responsibilities include equipment sanitation, inventory management, vendor stock control, and ensuring proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment. The Kitchen Manager leads and supports kitchen staff in a cooperative work environment and takes on responsibilities such as ordering, menu planning, and scheduling in the absence of higher management.

Employees at Rivertown Ridge enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off and holiday pay, which promote a healthy work-life balance. The Kitchen Manager will also receive daily pay, health and dental insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, 401K with employer match, referral bonuses, tuition reimbursement, and access to an Employee Assistance Program. These benefits underline the commitment of Rivertown Ridge and Grace Management to both the personal and professional well-being of their employees.

This career opportunity not only offers the chance to grow professionally within a respected senior living community but also to contribute meaningfully to the quality of life of seniors through exceptional dining experiences.
