Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in kitchen supervision or leadership
- Food safety and sanitation certification
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to carry products up to 120 feet
- Ability to reach up to 6 feet
- Ability to work in confined kitchen spaces
- Ability to work off counter heights between 36 and 42 inches
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- 1-2 years experience as a kitchen supervisor or kitchen lead
- 2 years of relevant computer experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Formal culinary training is preferred
- Possess required food safety and sanitation certifications
- Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish with the crew
Job Duties
- Complete opening duties including setting up stations and preparing prep lists
- Obtain and transport food items safely to assigned stations
- Check quality and quantity of stock and supplies
- Ensure sufficient chinaware supply for service
- Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Oversee and support preparation of food items for shifts
- Skillfully prepare and cook meals during shifts
- Complete closing duties including storing food and cleaning kitchen
- Communicate with management on recipe adherence
- Interact with guests regarding table visits, complaints, and special requests
