The Kitchen Manager role at Texas Roadhouse is a crucial position responsible for overseeing all Back of House operations in the restaurant. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, reflecting the importance of the role in maintaining food quality, safety, and operational efficiency. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing food purchasing, receiving, preparation, and presentation, ensuring all products meet the established recipes and standards. In this position, the Kitchen Manager plays a key role in enforcing compliance with employment policies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest safety at all times. You will direct productivity efforts to monitor food ticket times and manage the performance of Back of House employees through evaluations, coaching, and discipline. Developing key team members, including assistant managers and hourly staff, is a priority achieved through daily feedback sessions and formal training. Your responsibilities also include conducting taste and temperature checks to uphold food safety standards, overseeing proper handling and storage of items, and managing food costs by tracking waste and controlling labor expenses.
