Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • Country club, resort, or fine dining experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and kitchen safety
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
  • ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation during and after service
  • Execute food preparation for service including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, slicers, and mixers safely and properly
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation standards at all times
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
  • Support special events, member functions, and seasonal menus as required
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and club policies
