Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain that is revolutionizing the fast-food industry by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients. Founded on the principle of Food With Integrity, Chipotle emphasizes using ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. The company has cultivated a unique dining experience that balances speed with care and quality, making delicious, nutritious food accessible to everyone. With restaurants across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle remains the only restaurant chain of its size that directly owns and operates all locations in North America and Europe. Chipotle is committed to innovation, leadership in the food industry, sustainable business practices, and a digital-forward approach, aiming to sustain its mission while creating a positive impact on the environment and society.

The Kitchen Leader role at Chipotle is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food, leadership, and customer service. As a Kitchen Leader, you will gain hands-on experience preparing high-quality food by grilling meats and sautéing vegetables. This position goes beyond the basic preparation of food; you'll be responsible for ensuring every dish meets Chipotle's high standards for taste and safety. Kitchen Leaders play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the kitchen. Their duties include ordering supplies, training and developing crew members into future leaders, and upholding food safety and quality standards.

This role is designed for proactive, energetic individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while fostering teamwork and collaboration. Kitchen Leaders serve as role models, leading by example and motivating team members to deliver excellent food and customer experiences. With a foundational commitment to Chipotle’s core values and Food With Integrity philosophy, Kitchen Leaders help shape the future of the restaurant by supporting the team culture and promoting a positive, productive workplace. The position requires being constantly on your feet, managing various tasks, and pitching in wherever needed. Employment is typically part-time or full-time with competitive compensation ranging from $21.25 to $23.65 per hour, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including tuition assistance, free food, medical insurance, and opportunities for advancement. This is more than just a kitchen position; it's a leadership role that offers growth, learning, and the chance to be part of a movement redefining fast food for the better.
