Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain that is transforming the traditional fast-food experience by prioritizing responsibly sourced, high-quality ingredients prepared with care and dedication. Established as a leader in the food industry, Chipotle emphasizes sustainability and transparency across its operations while fostering a workplace culture that values teamwork, growth, and inclusivity. The company operates a significant number of restaurants across the United States and internationally in countries such as Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, maintaining a unique approach by owning and operating all its locations in North America and Europe. Chipotle's commitment to its 'Food With Integrity' philosophy drives its mission to make better food accessible to everyone, focusing on wholesome ingredients with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

In the role of Kitchen Leader at Chipotle, you will be part of this mission by playing a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and customer experiences. As a Kitchen Leader, your primary responsibility is to prepare delicious meals that meet Chipotle's high standards by cooking and prepping food accurately and efficiently. This position requires you to manage and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and safety protocols are strictly followed. You'll also take charge of monitoring food waste and inventory to help optimize kitchen operations. A crucial part of this role is leading and mentoring team members to develop their skills and prepare them for future leadership positions within the kitchen. By fostering a positive, cooperative environment between back-of-house and front-of-house teams, you contribute directly to a seamless and outstanding customer experience.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to build your culinary and leadership skills in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Chipotle provides competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including tuition assistance covering select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, free meals during shifts, medical, dental, and vision insurance options, and paid time off. Opportunities for advancement are significant, with approximately 80% of managers having started as Crew members, demonstrating the company's commitment to internal growth. The Kitchen Leader role is a stepping stone for those passionate about food service and eager to develop their careers with a purpose-driven and innovative company.

Working at Chipotle also means joining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace that respects individual differences and promotes equal employment opportunities regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or veteran status. The company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations during the hiring process and ensuring that all employees have the support and resources they need to succeed while embodying Chipotle's core values and mission.
