Settle into the heart of Times Square, a vibrant and iconic location in New York City known for its bright lights, bustling energy, and world-class entertainment destinations. Within this exciting environment lies the Broadway Lounge and Revel & Rye, two dynamic dining establishments that offer bold New York flavors alongside stunning views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Whether guests are gathering before or after a show, catching up with friends, or simply soaking in the hustle and bustle of the city, these venues provide the perfect backdrop for unforgettable dining experiences.
The establishments emphasize delivering exceptional hospitality with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making them standout destinations in one of the world's most renowned entertainment districts. Each location prides itself on high-quality food, thoughtful presentation, and excellent service designed to cater to the diverse needs of local and visiting patrons. Working here means being part of a dedicated team that values collaboration and aims to create memorable moments for every guest.
The role of expeditor at the Broadway Lounge and Revel & Rye is crucial to ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations and excellent service delivery. This position acts as the vital link between the kitchen and service teams, focusing on timing, accuracy, and presentation of every dish before it reaches the guest. The expeditor is responsible for facilitating the delivery of food orders within a fast-paced, high-energy environment under the bright lights of Times Square.
The expeditor must be skilled at juggling multiple tasks and communicating effectively with kitchen staff and servers alike, helping to maintain the overall flow and quality of service. This role requires a deep understanding of food preparation standards, attention to detail regarding order modifications and dietary restrictions, and the ability to work calmly and professionally under stress. Working hand-in-hand with cooks and food runners, the expeditor supports both teams to ensure that every plate leaving the kitchen is perfect and delivered promptly.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing the cleanliness and readiness of the kitchen pass and workstations, monitoring ticket timings, and assisting in the training and mentoring of new service team members, particularly food runners. This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in energetic, team-driven settings and have a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Embracing a culture of Enlightened Hospitality, the expeditor contributes significantly to the restaurant's mission of delighting guests and maintaining a seamless dining operation in one of New York City's most watched and beloved neighborhoods.
