The role of Full-Time Cook at Kiddie Academy of Seattle is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional who is dedicated to preparing wholesome, nutritious, and delicious meals tailored specifically for young children. This role demands a chef who loves cooking healthy food with an emphasis on fresh, local, and organic ingredients wherever possible. This position offers the cook full autonomy and responsibility over the planning and preparation of daily meals and snacks inside a modern, fully equipped kitchen designed with professional standards in mind. The Full-Time Cook works Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until approximately 3:00 to 4:00 PM, allowing evenings and weekends free for personal balance. The cook plays a vital role in advancing the academy’s mission by ensuring that children receive balanced and appealing meals that comply with nutrition regulations and local health department standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for meal planning, preparing and distributing food to classrooms, managing inventory, ordering supplies within a set budget, and maintaining impeccable hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
