Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
  • Previous experience as a cook or in a culinary role
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Proficiency with kitchen tools and appliances
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Former engagement as a cook or in a relevant culinary capacity
  • Sound comprehension of cooking methods and principles essential for food preparation
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Create a diverse selection of dishes using standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Arrange work areas with necessary ingredients and tools
  • Arrange ingredients by cutting, trimming, measuring, blending, and similar tasks
  • Safely operate kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, ovens, stovetops, and mixers
  • Prepare and cook dishes through baking, broiling, roasting, steaming, and other culinary processes
  • Present and distribute meals according to specific standards for appearance and quantity
  • Abide by recommended food safety protocols and store food appropriately
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen surfaces, machinery, and tools
  • Provide outstanding service to customers while maintaining a positive mindset
  • Ensure full adherence to Aramark's safety and sanitation policies
  • Protect organizational properties
