The position sometimes involves supervising students within the feeding areas to maintain proper conduct and safety.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong knowledge of safe food handling principles, personal hygiene, and quantity food production methods. Experience with food service equipment such as ovens, toasters, and slicing machines is important to perform the role efficiently and safely. Additionally, the ability to work independently, communicate effectively with supervisors and peers, and interact courteously with students and staff is crucial for success in this role.
This position requires the candidate to occasionally lift and move heavy boxes and materials and be capable of standing for extended periods during service hours. The job is non-exempt and hourly paid, with access to details on salary ranges available through the CREC careers website. New employees are also provided with comprehensive benefits overviews to support their employment experience.
