Kitchen Ambassador

We are currently seeking a Kitchen Ambassador to serve as the primary on-site representative within our cloud kitchen facilities located in Washington DC. This part-time, in-person role plays a critical part in maintaining the smooth flow of food orders from kitchen partners to courier pickup, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and organization throughout the process. The Kitchen Ambassador will collaborate closely with kitchen operators to verify, sort, and stage orders, prepare meals for efficient courier handoff, and maintain clean and orderly staging areas. This position requires excellent communication skills, both in person and digitally, to effectively manage real-time updates between kitchen staff, drivers, and Picnic operations.

Responsible for supporting daily lunch rush operations, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in fast-paced kitchen environments and able to stay organized and composed under pressure. The role offers notable leadership opportunities for those who demonstrate strong ownership, operational awareness, and teamwork, with potential responsibilities including shift coordination, driver flow management, and training support. The position requires physical stamina, with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on your feet during busy periods.

This employee role offers an hourly wage of $18 to $20 and includes benefits such as a flexible schedule and career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company.
