Job Description
Kiehl's Since 1851 is a distinguished skincare brand that originated as an old-world apothecary in New York's Lower East Side neighborhood. With a rich legacy spanning over a century, Kiehl's has established itself through personalized customer interactions and unique formulations that leverage natural ingredients sourced from around the world. Today, the brand continues to honor its heritage by focusing on high-quality products and exceptional customer service across its extensive retail network. Kiehl's commitment to authenticity, innovation, and customer satisfaction has solidified its reputation as a trusted name in skincare worldwide.
Kiehl's is currently offering exciting career opportunities for enthusiastic Business Managers eager to advance their careers in the skincare industry. This role is ideal for self-motivated and energetic individuals who are passionate about skincare, committed to driving retail success, and ready to take on leadership responsibilities with a path to growth. The Business Manager position is full-time, with hourly pay ranging from $18 to $30 per hour, depending on location and experience, with the final offer made by the specific retailer acting as the employer.
The Business Manager plays a pivotal role in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators by leading the team through strong communication, training, and exemplary customer service. Responsibilities include driving sales plans, managing promotional activities, maintaining and enhancing the Customer Registry Program, and leading team motivation and training efforts. This role also involves performing hands-on skincare product demonstrations, observing sales interactions to provide constructive feedback, and organizing outreach and incremental event plans to attract new customers. Attendance at seminars, training sessions, and management meetings is required to stay up to date with company initiatives and leadership strategies.
This role is well-suited for candidates with prior management experience, a strong ability to communicate effectively, and preferably some background knowledge in skincare. Flexibility is essential as the Business Manager must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays to meet the demands of this retail position. Kiehl's fosters a diverse and inclusive work environment and is an equal opportunity employer, ensuring fair treatment for all employees without discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, marital or veteran status, medical condition, disability, or any other legally protected status. Reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities are also provided upon request.
Overall, joining Kiehl's as a Business Manager offers a compelling opportunity to grow within a prestigious skincare brand while making an impact through leadership, customer engagement, and retail excellence. Those passionate about skincare and empowered to inspire and guide a team will find this role rewarding and full of potential.
