KBP Foods is currently seeking an Assistant General Manager for their KFC location at 3148 Western Branch Blvd, Chesapeake, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced world of restaurant management where leadership, teamwork, exceptional service, and operational excellence are paramount. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be a key contributor to the success of the restaurant by supporting daily operational functions and leading a high-performing team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about managing and growing a quick-service restaurant. You will be responsible for leading team members, ensuring high-quality guest experiences, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards. The role requires hands-on leadership to coach and schedule employees, oversee inventory control and cash handling, and uphold KFC’s strict standards for food quality and presentation. Additionally, the Assistant General Manager will actively manage labor and food costs to enhance restaurant profitability and take part in a quarterly bonus program based on performance metrics.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar role within the food service or retail industry, specifically with profit and loss responsibilities, and preferably with quick-service experience. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to close the restaurant at least two nights a week. Physical fitness to handle lifting, standing, walking, and operating restaurant equipment during shifts is essential.
