Circle K is a well-known global convenience store chain operating in multiple countries, and in this instance, the specific location is Store 2707294Q situated at 16970 US Hwy 431 South, Headland, Alabama. This store operates within the retail convenience industry, providing a wide array of products and services that cater to the daily needs of their customers. The store operates full time with shifts spanning days and evenings, designed to accommodate various customer and operational needs throughout the day.

The role available at this location is that of a Restaurant Assistant Manager, a critical leadership position responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of daily restaurant operations. The Restaurant Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all team members deliver exceptional guest service efficiently and courteously, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and operational excellence. This position is full time and entails working hours that cover all the operating hours of the restaurant, including at least one hour before opening and after closing, to support smooth shift transitions and operational wrap-up tasks.

As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, the individual will take on supervisory responsibilities by leading the team in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, conducting interviews, overseeing food preparation to meet health and brand standards, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment. This leadership role requires active coaching and motivating of team members, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines, and managing administrative duties such as inventory and cash control. Job Duties

  • provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner
  • coaches and corrects team
  • conducts second interviews for team members and shift leads
  • maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties
  • assigns shift duties to team members and follows up to ensure completion
  • directs team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with all brand, company, and health department regulations
  • coaches team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management
  • cascades relevant information to team members and assists with new product training
  • responsible for placing campaign materials upon request
  • ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
  • monitors and ensures accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records for the duration of the shift
  • completes end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts as required
  • communicates any discrepancies to immediate supervisor
  • in absence of the restaurant manager, completes daily, weekly and end of period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, and other administrative duties as required
  • guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes
  • completes reports on all incidents following our 5-minute rule policy
  • partners with the restaurant manager and takes ownership to ensure all financial and operational metrics are met, resulting in a profitable restaurant
