Job Requirements

- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical capability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- commitment to maintaining sanitation and safety standards
- strong interpersonal skills

- proven experience in a kitchen supervisory role

Job Duties
- support in the planning, organizing, controlling and directing kitchen staff activities
- select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach and discipline kitchen employees
- assist in recipe planning and development
- ensure correct preparation and presentation of food items
- control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing and inventory control
- ensure sanitation standards and kitchen cleanliness are maintained
- communicate with employees and managers to meet operational needs and attend coordination meetings
