Job Requirements

  • work authorization in the United States
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical capability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • commitment to maintaining sanitation and safety standards
  • strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • proven experience in a kitchen supervisory role
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to control food costs and manage budgets
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to develop and maintain high-quality food standards

Job Duties

  • support in the planning, organizing, controlling and directing kitchen staff activities
  • select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach and discipline kitchen employees
  • assist in recipe planning and development
  • ensure correct preparation and presentation of food items
  • control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing and inventory control
  • ensure sanitation standards and kitchen cleanliness are maintained
  • communicate with employees and managers to meet operational needs and attend coordination meetings
