Job Description

The Sheraton Greensboro/Joseph S. Koury Convention Center is currently looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join its high-volume banquet kitchen team. The position involves leading kitchen staff to deliver top-quality meals, maintaining a strong safety culture, coaching the line, overseeing plate quality, supervising staff, managing inventory and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and food safety compliance, and monitoring kitchen equipment.

Job Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of high-volume Sous Chef experience, demonstrate consistency in high-quality food production with a focus on presentation, be proficient in teaching and training staff to high standards, possess attention to detail, innovative training skills, creativity, food-cost control, and organizational proficiency, and be committed to promoting and upholding a strong safety culture.
