The Juice and Specialty Product Preparation Specialist role plays a crucial part in this team by being responsible for the preparation of juice and other specialty products intended for purchase in retail environments. This part-time position operates within the retail store setting, consistently interacting with coworkers, management, and customers, and requires adherence to strict food safety and operational guidelines. The hourly wage for this role ranges from $13.50 to $14.50. The position entails proper setup and preparation of the specialized food product area, requiring the individual to carefully read and understand all materials accompanying product demonstrations to comply with program scope, production requirements, safety instructions, and quality standards. Employees must follow safety protocols when operating equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades and demonstrate proper physical handling techniques, including safe lifting of heavy merchandise.

Compliance with food safety requirements, proper handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal are all integral components of this role. Reporting and documentation, including online records, must be accurately maintained. Regular review of event schedules, email communications, corporate news updates, and supervisor requests is necessary to stay informed of upcoming activities and changes. The role also involves obtaining relevant certifications and attending training sessions to stay compliant and knowledgeable. Maintaining a clean, sterile, and safe work environment is essential, utilizing the appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment. Teamwork is valued, with expectations to assist teammates in event setup, cleanup, and kitchen duties when required. The role demands active participation in food sampling and demonstrations to directly support business goals.
