Job Description
Product Connections is a vital part of Acosta Group, a renowned full-service marketing agency known for reimagining the connections between brands and consumers across various retail touchpoints. Operating as a segment of one of the industry's most trusted retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies, Product Connections specializes in delivering impactful retail events, demonstrations, experiential marketing, sponsorship activations, and omnichannel shopper marketing. With a workforce of over 10,000 experts and more than 150 corporate employees, Acosta Group fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth, encouraging employees to push boundaries and make significant contributions. The group is committed to inclusivity and providing a supportive environment where employees grow their skills and advance their careers.
Within this dynamic environment, the Product Demonstrator role is designed for individuals who are passionate about food products and customer engagement. This position focuses on preparing juices and other specialty products for purchase and conducting product demonstrations that attract and educate customers. The role requires hands-on preparation, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication skills to promote products during in-store events and demonstrations. This full-time opportunity allows the demo specialist to work in a retail store setting where interaction with customers, co-workers, and management teams is frequent. The candidate will be required to maintain a clean and safe workspace while following specific food preparation and handling guidelines to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
As a Product Demonstrator for Product Connections, you will be instrumental in providing a memorable and positive product experience. Responsibilities include efficiently setting up and preparing the area for specialty food products, executing demonstrations with precision to highlight the product's unique attributes, and completing all reporting requirements including online documentation. Safety compliance is critical; the role demands meticulous attention to proper equipment handling, use of sharp utensils, and lifting heavy boxes or merchandise safely. The role may also require some physical demand such as pushing heavy wheeled machines and standing for extended periods. Furthermore, continuous learning through certifications and special training sessions is an essential part of this position to stay updated with product knowledge and safety standards.
This role is not just about product presentation but also about being an ambassador for the brand—ensuring that every demonstration effectively converts shoppers by engaging them and answering their questions. The Product Demonstrator must be adaptable, ready to assist teammates with event setup or cleanup and kitchen duties when needed, and capable of reading and understanding detailed instructional materials. This makes the position well-suited for individuals eager to blend creativity with practical skills in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. The job offers the opportunity to grow within a supportive company that values each employee’s contributions and provides the tools for career advancement. Acosta Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities and maintaining a respectful, engaging workplace environment.
