This particular position is responsible for preparing juice and other specialty products for customer purchase, as well as conducting engaging product demonstrations and sampling events. The role requires setting up and preparing areas for specialized food products and carefully reading materials that accompany product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements, and compliance needs. Employees in this position follow all safety protocols when handling equipment such as hot machinery or sharp blades and practice proper lifting techniques when dealing with heavy merchandise.

The job involves adhering strictly to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal procedures while completing all required reporting accurately, including online requirements. Team members regularly check the product event schedule and internal communications for updates on activities, corporate news, event changes, and supervisor requests. Attending certifications and training sessions is mandatory to maintain compliance and enhance job performance.

Maintaining a clean, sterile, and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment is crucial in this role. Employees assist teammates with event setup or cleanup and kitchen duties as needed. Conducting food sampling and demonstrations supports the business objectives and requires following general setup and teardown guidelines. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but requires a team-oriented mindset within a fast-paced retail store environment, often with moderate to high noise levels and exposure to refrigerated conditions and cleaning chemicals.

Physical demands include the ability to continuously lift at least 50 pounds multiple times per day, push wheeled machinery weighing from 50 to 600 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb using a 6-foot step stool, and work in environments with varying temperatures. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary to interact with customers and colleagues. The ability to read, understand, and follow safety instructions and food safety compliance protocols is essential.

Candidates with previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or the food, beverage, or restaurant industry are preferred. A valid food safety certification or license from the appropriate state or local authority is required. Bilingual skills may be beneficial based on business needs.
