As a Ready-Mix Driver at Cemex, you will play a vital role in the construction supply chain by safely operating a concrete mixer truck to deliver concrete loads to various job sites. This position requires a responsible and skilled professional who can handle the complexities of transporting and discharging concrete under diverse and potentially challenging conditions. The Ready-Mix Driver must navigate uneven terrain while ensuring that all operations comply with safety and regulatory requirements, including the proper attachment and management of extension chutes to enable accurate concrete placement.

Job Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A or B)
- High school diploma preferred
- Must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Acceptable CSA and MVR record
- No DUI or DWI in the last five years
- No more than three moving violations in the past three years
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work in outdoor industrial environments
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, and climbing
Job Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A or B)
- High school diploma preferred
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Acceptable CSA and MVR record
- No DUI or DWI in the last five years
- No more than three moving violations in the past three years
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction and transportation
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow supervisor instructions
- Knowledge of traffic routes and basic truck maintenance skills desirable
Job Duties
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites
- Adapt discharge methods to various site settings and conditions
- Attach and manage extension chutes as necessary for precise concrete pouring
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready-mix truck
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional image
- Work closely with dispatch and other team members for efficient operations
