The position of Associate at JD Finish Line involves a multifaceted role centered around enhancing the customer experience and supporting daily store operations. Associates are integral to the store's performance, tasked with driving sales, managing merchandise, and maintaining the overall store environment. Job Requirements

A set weekly availability including a mix of mornings, days, and nights based on business needs
availability to work on weekends and holidays as required
consistent punctuality and regular attendance in line with company policies
clear spoken English to effectively communicate with customers
proficiency in reading, writing, and basic math in English to handle business tasks and understand sales reports
ability to stand for approximately four to fourteen hours per day
ability to stoop, kneel, reach, and pull to obtain or stock merchandise
ability to climb ladders or ascend/descend stairs as needed
ability to lift items weighing 5 to 25 lbs regularly, sometimes heavier
good vision including color differentiation
must be at least 18 years old, or 16 years old in certain states
ability to perform additional duties outside normal job scope as required

Job Qualifications

Proven experience in retail or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets is preferred
passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences
strong interpersonal and communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic
willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems

Job Duties

Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of customer service
drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets
