Kellermeyer Bergensons Services invites you to become part of a fast-growing, exciting company full of great opportunities. They are currently seeking to fill the position of a Janitor (Portero) within their Cleaning Services team. This is an hourly, non-exempt role with an initial pay of $12 per hour and available shifts from 3 to 6 pm. The janitor role is vital in delivering excellent cleaning services, frequently interacting with clients and prioritizing work based on daily client needs. Employees in this position will work in high-traffic locations or independently at sites, engaging daily with clients to ensure requests are addressed within the scope of work while maintaining excellent client relationships.

The role demands comprehensive knowledge of cleaning and custodial processes, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to lead and provide solutions to various challenges. Responsibilities may evolve as directed by the manager, and this role requires physical stamina such as walking extensively during shifts and lifting containers up to 49 pounds. The janitor will perform tasks following detailed instructions, interpret safety rules and operational documents, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers. KBS utilizes mobile time tracking software (KBSPresence) to monitor employee hours, manage attendance, complete required training, and distribute important work information. Employees are expected to use this app on their personal devices, with reimbursement for phone usage provided according to local laws.
