We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Janitor to join our team for the swing shift at our Joint Base Lewis-McChord location. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The janitor role is vital in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment across various facilities on the base. The hourly wage for this position is $23.51, reflecting the importance we place on skilled and dedicated personnel.

As a swing shift Janitor at Tessera, you will be responsible for performing a variety of janitorial duties to ensure cleanliness and safety across office spaces, restrooms, hallways, entrances, and other high-traffic areas. Your responsibilities will include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash collection, and restocking supplies. This role involves working closely with a teammate on an assigned route, requiring reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established cross-contamination procedures to uphold health standards.

Understanding the demands of the position, the role requires physical stamina as it involves activities like lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, kneeling, and precision in cleaning tasks over extended periods. The position demands a professional attitude with the ability to communicate courteously and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
