This full-time Interventional Cardiologist role offers an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled and supportive team at a state-of-the-art facility with an expansive multidisciplinary valve clinic and the largest, most experienced structural heart program in Montana. The ideal candidate will be board-eligible or board-certified, motivated, and compassionate with a solid background in interventional cardiology training and clinical experience.

This position boasts a robust clinical trial program with unique research opportunities, allowing the successful candidate to engage in innovative clinical practice and contribute to the future of cardiac care. An advanced practice provider (APP) support team of five is in place to assist in delivering high-quality patient care. The compensation package is competitive and includes a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Job Requirements

  • medical degree from accredited institution
  • completion of cardiology fellowship with interventional specialization
  • valid medical license to practice in Montana
  • eligibility for hospital privileges at Providence St. Patrick Hospital
  • ability to participate in on-call rotations
  • commitment to maintaining continuing medical education

Job Qualifications

  • board-eligible or board-certified in interventional cardiology

  • familiarity with clinical trial protocols and research methodology

Job Duties

  • perform interventional cardiology procedures including angioplasties and stenting
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrophysiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons
  • participate in clinical trials and research studies
  • provide patient consultations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • engage in the valve clinic and structural heart program
  • support and mentor APPs and junior staff
  • maintain compliance with hospital protocols and quality standards
