Job Description
ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging company known for its comprehensive product offerings and innovative solutions. With a commitment to five core values — Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement, and Impact — ProAmpac brings brand owners and packaging experts together to foster fresh thinking, accelerate advanced technology, and enhance speed-to-market advantages. Operating with a broad geographic footprint, the company combines the strength of its heritage from small business roots and strategic acquisitions, making it a trusted leader in the packaging industry worldwide. ProAmpac prides itself on its safety-oriented, fast-paced, and growth-driven work environment, emphasizing quality and responsiveness to customer needs.
ProAmpac is currently hiring for an Inspector position at its Exton, PA facility. Also recognized as a Finisher, Slitter, or Rewinder in the printing industry, the Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of the final printed product, primarily labels, according to customer standards and specifications. The role involves a detailed understanding of job sheets and specifications, precise setup of machinery, and vigilant monitoring of production to identify and remove defective items. Inspectors are responsible for completing all required documentation and adhering strictly to quality and safety protocols in all aspects of their work.
The position operates across three shifts with the flexibility to work 1st (6 a.m. to 2 p.m.), 2nd (2 p.m. to 10 p.m.), or 3rd (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.) shifts, although initial training takes place on the 1st shift for at least one month. This role demands excellent attention to detail, strong mathematical skills including the ability to read rulers accurately, and the capacity to recognize and match colors effectively. ProAmpac seeks candidates with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience, demonstrating the ability to understand and apply job instructions consistently.
Beyond the responsibilities and technical skill requirements, ProAmpac values team players who can contribute positively to the work group and individuals with a meticulous approach capable of completing tasks with the highest standards of accuracy. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusiveness, providing equal opportunities to veterans and individuals with disabilities. Employees at ProAmpac benefit from a supportive environment with paid holidays, paid time off, company-matched 401(k) plans, and comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance programs. Working conditions include a climate-controlled environment designed for comfort and safety, along with company-provided life insurance.
Joining the ProAmpac team means becoming part of a dynamic and innovative leader in the packaging world, contributing to products that touch numerous industries, driving customer satisfaction through exceptional product quality and exemplary service. This position offers a solid career path in a growing company that values experience, attention to detail, and work ethic. It is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking to advance their careers in the packaging and printing sectors in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
